Named Cincinnati’s Best Local Artist of 2010, Robin Ewers is no stranger to accolades of the artistic kind. Graduating with a graphic design degree from Antonelli College, Robin has already surmounted any expectations set for a young artist; her art adorns the walls of eclectic Cincinnati bars and restaurants, very appropriately complimenting her style. Specializing in watercolors and pencil drawings, Robin’s
retro-infused love for Audrey Hepburn inspires feminine, yet bold works of art while her love of Cincinnati provides the inspiration for her landscape paintings. Her level of technique is a rarity and innate passion for art unmatched. Robin is the artist for the “Over the Swine” Pig, sponsored by the Cincinnati Development Fund and the co-artist, along with Randy Wilcox from Once Blind Studios, LLC, of the Christian Moerlein Cincinnati Brewing Heritage Pig for the Big Pig Gig 2012.
Robin’s art has been mentioned and promoted by Cincy Chic, A-Line Magazine, FOX 19 Morning Extra, Artworks Cincinnati, Springboard Cincinnati, Abservd Magazine, Soapbox Cincinnati, CityBeat Magazine, Cincy Magazine, RAW Artists, Metromix, Cincinnati.com and Wild Turkey Distillery.
Robin owns and operates her new studio, Dogwood Art Studio, out of Brazee Street Studios, located in Oakley in Cincinnati. Dogwood Art Studio is her way of keeping art alive and strong in the community. Dogwood Art Studio offers individualized art instruction, drawing and painting classes for targeted age groups, wine and painting parties, Artist Badge earning classes for Boy Scout or Girl Scout troops and more.
